One great meditation for moms is the “Loving-Kindness” meditation.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then, visualize someone you love, such as your child. Repeat silently to yourself, “May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be safe, may you be loved.”
Taking it further
Next, visualize someone you have a difficult relationship with. Maybe even a family member or friend. Repeat the same phrases for them.
Now turn inward
Finally, visualize yourself and repeat the phrases for yourself.
This meditation can help cultivate feelings of love and compassion towards yourself and others, reducing stress and increasing overall happiness.
